Well some of you thought I went to Florida for Spring break. However, when I went there it was not for spring break, but to go on a cruise to the Bahamas, so my truth would be that I went to the Bahamas.
How is this semester going for me? Well it has really been a challenging time. I’m only taking two classes, a math class and an English 101. I thought I would test the waters first before, I just dive into something I won’t be able to get out of. Luckily, I made the right choice, because the way things are going, I am falling behind in my math class, and trying to keep up with the other one. But no one said college was going to be easy and I can thank the learning center a lot because they have really helped me on my assignments. Especially after receiving my grade from my first essay that I turned in for my English class. That’s when I knew that if I wanted to pass that class I would need to get all the help available. To be honest I deserved the grade I got especially after being away from school for over seven years. One thing I can tell everyone is that, I can only give it my best after all I am here to learn and there is nothing that I will not get out of it. Now that we are half way done through the semester, and reflecting back on how I started I can say that I have come a long way. It took a lot of effort and time, but here I am getting through it all. One thing that has been keeping me motivated is that I want to pass my classes and seeing my grades improving, keeps me working even harder to get a better grade. We are almost done stay motivated!
college is tough but stay focused as much as possible and youll be able to do it! good luck
ReplyDeleteSchool is tough but it's not normally this tough. I say stick with it and next semester take at least one class you think you might really like just so you will have a little bit more fun. Good Luck!
ReplyDeleteGreat to hear you sought out and found the extra help you needed! I wish more students would do that.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you got it under controle, but english and math are hard subjects in general.. I took them both together the last 2 semesters.. and its work load.
ReplyDeleteI truly admire your dedication and focus on succeeding. Your family must be proud. Keep it up!
