Texting
Now in days everyone has a cell phone, I guess is the new era of communicating. It’s cheaper than calling someone and it gives you a little more privacy. But sometimes it could be abuse like kids in junior high and in high school are getting into so much trouble for texting. I have also seen adults getting into trouble at work for the same thing their kids did at school. I even get caught myself texting from time to time, but I try to be responsible at work. I don’t think texting is something bad; but it has a time and a place of when to use it. I just do not agree with texting and driving it is a bad mixture; because there are so many accidents. Texting is something that we can prevent while driving so we can pay more attention to the road, to prevent some of the accidents. That is why I think our government are coming with new laws and enforcing them; because we are not responsible enough to not text and drive. There are so many things that can happen in a blink of an eye, like someone not coming back home to their love ones.

I completely agree with you; texting while driving is a bad combination. I've known people who were in fender benders that could have been prevented if she would have just put the phone down.
ReplyDeleteI think texting in school is such an issue. Getting students to pay attention in class is tough enough, but when you bring cell phones into the mix, teachers don't have a fighting chance
ReplyDeleteAs a teacher, I've decided that if someone is going to text in class, I am not going to stop them. I can tellyou though, that frequent texters don't pass my class very often because they miss a lot of information.
ReplyDeleteI agree. If there is an accident then it's usually the person doing the right thing that gets hurt more.
ReplyDeleteI must admit I was one of those texting students back in high school but i rarely got caught and passed all my classes!
ReplyDeleteI agree texting while driving just does not work out. Hey I thought you didnt work, you lied in your interview!
